Frequently Asked Questions

What is the return policy?

Our goal is for every customer to be completely satisfied with their purchase. If this isn't the case, please let us know. You have a 14-day return policy. During this period, you can return the sarong (unwashed and in its original packaging) to us. See our returns policy for more information.

Can I wash the sarong in the washing machine?

We recommend hand washing at a low temperature to keep the fabric looking its best. If machine washing, use a delicate cycle without a spin cycle and a laundry bag/pillowcase.

Can the color of my batik sarong rub off?

Yes, slight color bleeding may occur during the first few washes. Therefore, wash the sarong separately for the first few washes and avoid soaking for extended periods.

Are certain purchases final?

No, you have a 14-day cooling-off period. This means you can examine your purchased sarong. Once the 14 days have passed, you can no longer return the product.

Is the fabric transparent?

The rayon fabric is light and breathable, yet virtually opaque in normal use.

Why is there sometimes wax on my sarong?

During the batik dyeing process, hot wax is used to protect parts of the fabric from dye. Sometimes, small wax residues remain on the fabric after the production process. This is normal for handmade batik products and not a manufacturing defect.

What should I do about wax residue on my sarong?

You can easily remove wax residue using the following method:

Step by step:

  1. Place the sarong on an ironing board between two sheets of kitchen paper or absorbent paper.
  2. Set the iron to a low to medium setting (without steam).
  3. Gently stroke the paper. The wax will melt and be absorbed by the paper.
  4. Replace the paper if necessary and repeat until the wax is gone.
  5. Afterwards, wash the sarong by hand in cold or lukewarm water.

⚠️ Do not use high temperature to avoid damaging the fabric.

When will I receive my order?

Once you've placed your order, we'll ship it as quickly as possible. You'll receive an email with more information once your order has shipped. Delivery times depend on your location.

What is a batik-dyed sarong?

A batik sarong is hand-dyed using a traditional batik process, using hot wax to create patterns in the fabric. This creates unique designs and natural color nuances. No two sarongs are exactly alike.

Where are your products made?

Our products are produced in Bali. We carefully select our production partners to ensure high quality and fair prices.

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping costs are calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You'll always know the shipping costs before you complete your purchase.

Is every sarong unique?

Yes! Because batik is hand-dyed, each sarong has a unique pattern. Slight variations in color and design are part of the craftsmanship.
